The Story of VANdoodle ART

Spreading the joy of art and gardens everywhere

The Vandoodle van....

Painting the Vandoodle van was originally a way to move me beyond some personal loss and get me back to painting and sharing my love of art,

It proved to be a wonderful connector with others and inspired me to continue my search for joy in other ways.  You can read much more about it by clicking on the blog page.

DIVA non-profit arts organzation - Drain, Oregon

My adult life has been filled with creative art endeavors beneffiting communities or individuals. One of my most rewarding experiences was bringing a non-profit arts organization, DIVA (Downtown Initiative for the Visual Arts) to Drain Oregon.

About me today

At age 70, I'm thrilled to be living in Portland, Oregon and still making and sharing art. I feel very fortunate to have found a neighborhood and neighbors (Kenton) where my creative play can continue to help and inspire others.

Today, I paint outdoors whenever I can, grow a garden extensive enough to feed others, and use my skills and interests to develop my art, this website and my other shop avenues to help me feed the hungry. It's also part of my mission  to  encourage others to find and use their own voice through making art  in order to help make the world a better place for everyone.
