Moved in the studio at long last after 7 months of waiting!
Owners had remodeled upstairs nicely but outside of the building was still a little rough
Moving in. Got the coffee. I should have known it wasn't going to stay like this very long.
Some other artists got to this place before I did...
This was on of its "arrangments" over the first few months
January 2023
I can happily report that I've
managed in the first 9 months here to get all my art supplies and equipment into the studio and arranged in such a way I have a place to work in any medium I choose without having to arrange anything.
I have a bookmaking corner, an acrylic pour messy corner, clean space to watercolor etc, easels that don't have to move around when I decide to paint, an office setup and even a retail shop place (that nobody visits because this isn't a public place...but it allows me to plan for markets etc.)
